We are currently spending a couple of weeks in France in the Gaillac area, one of our favourite spots. We spent our first night at La Chartreuse du Val d'Esprit, Gosnay, an hour's drive from Calais, and then travelled down to the Loire, where we stayed in another favourite hotel of ours the Hostellerie Gargantua, in the heart of Chinon. We then moved on to the Dordogne and stayed at La Métairie, a delightful hotel just outside Mauzac. We are returning via Bourgogne and Champagne.
