We spent David's 60th Birthday weekend in Paris, travelling over on the Eurostar, and staying at the
Hotel Scribe. On the Saturday we went to
Les Invalides in the afternoon before going to an excellent concert with
Sir John Eliot Gardner conducting the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique. The next day was spent exploring the
Louvre, before going to another concert, this time at
La Sainte Chapelle. On the Monday we went to the
Monet Exhibition, before going to
Senderens in the evening for a truly memorable meal, returning home the following day.
